Webster University and the U.S. Department of Defense have worked together for 40 years to provide high quality and cost-effective undergraduate and graduate programs at military installations and other locations throughout the world. Webster University proudly supports our military students (active-duty, guard, reserve, dependents or veterans) in achieving their educational goals. In fact, more than 7,700 of Webster University's 22,200 students are military students.
Classes are offered at 39 military installations in the U.S., over 30 U.S. metropolitan campuses, numerous metropolitan locations overseas and conveniently online. Our courses meet the most stringent accreditation criteria, and satisfy the education training requirements for many military and civilian career fields.
Webster University Recommits to the 2014 DoD MOU
Webster University announces its continued commitment to our military students by our recent submission to the 2014 Department of Defense (DoD) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Webster University, an original signatory of the DoD MOU dated January 1, 2012, officially signed the agreement on July 8, 2014. The revised MOU incorporates changes based on the Obama administration's Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions serving Service Members.
Nationally and Regionally Accredited
Webster University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member
of the North Central Association, www.ncahlc.org. The accreditation, which was awarded in 1925, includes undergraduate and graduate
levels at all locations where the University offers programs.

Reduced Tuition for Military Students
Webster University demonstrates its support of military students achieving their educational goals. Active-duty Military, Reservists, and National Guard enrolled at Webster University are eligible for reduced tuition fees, including online courses. Additionally, tuition assistance may be provided by the military to eligible students. Federal and contract employees of the installation and dependents of active-duty military, reserve, and guard also qualify for a reduced tuition rate at on-base, in-classroom courses.
Cooperative Degree Programs
Webster University has the third largest selection of graduate programs serving the
military. Cooperative master's degree programs are offered in partnership with 42
professional military and Department of Defense schools, including the prestigious
Army Command and General Staff College. These cooperative degree programs provide
transfer credit for military-taught courses.
Specialized military and veterans advising teams are available to assist you at each step (academic advising, admissions, financial aid, etc.). Webster's military students enjoy a supportive environment that's needed to succeed.
