Michael Cottam

Michael Cottam
Dr. Michael Cottam oversees the Office of Military Affairs and the 28 military campuses run by Webster in addition to the online operations. He also works closely with the leadership of the metropolitan campuses, the deans of the schools and colleges, and the academic support units to further strengthen the experience of Webster students.

He also oversees the development and delivery of online courses and programs offered worldwide by Webster's schools and colleges. He is an experienced academic leader, strategic planner, instructional designer, and online education specialist.

Michelle Loyet

Associate Dean Military Campuses and Online Learning

Michelle Loyet
Dr. Michelle Loyet joined Webster in 2007 as Assistant Director of Academic Advising.  In 2014, she moved to Online Learning and was named Associate Dean of the combined Military Campuses and Online Learning organization in January of 2018. She has a PhD in Anthropology and teaches classes on human origins, osteology, and old world archaeology.

Jason Blakemore

VetSuccess on Campus Counselor (VSOC)

Jason BlakemoreJason joins the Office of Military Affairs as a VetSuccess on Campus Counselor (VSOC).  His affiliation with the Veterans Affairs and awareness of VA benefits will provide veterans, services members and dependents of veterans and service members a resource to utilize for all things VA.  Jason is a veteran of the United States Army and served with the 101st Airborne during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Jason graduated from Webster University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Management and also from Maryville University in 2013 with a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling. Prior to working for the Veteran's Affairs Jason spent over seven years working as a Veterans Service Officer for the Department of Missouri Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Ben Brink

Director, Military Program Innovation

Ben BrinkBen Brink has over 34 years of experience in the leadership of high technology companies, venture capital, and corporate partnerships. Mr. Brink has served at the senior executive level in the Federal Government; and is a retired US Navy Captain, Intelligence, with 36 years active and reserve service, including several commands and a recent combat tour in Afghanistan. He is also an adjunct professor in entrepreneurship and management. Mr. Brink holds degrees from Harvard Business School (MBA); Stanford University (MS, Operations Research), and US Army War College (MS, Strategic Studies).
