U.S. Army Sergeants Major 59
Webster University's cooperative degree program with the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) provides pre-approved graduate transfer credit for USASMA graduates of Classes 59 through 61 (graduation May 2009 to May 2011) to the following degree programs:
Transfer credits from the USASMA cooperative degree Classes 59 through 61 (graduation
May 2009 to May 2011) are limited to 9-12 credit hours depending on the degree program
selected. Transfer credits can not be applied to other degree programs.
Graduates of USASMA beginning with Class 62 will not be eligible for graduate transfer credit at Webster University. This determination is based on the American Council on Education's ACE evaluation of Version 6 for the USASMA Resident Course(ACE Exhibit AR-1408-0148) and of Version 3 of the USASMA Non-resident Course (ACE Exhibit AR-1408-0328).
- Completion of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy program, classes 59 through 61.
- Application and admission to one of the Webster University graduate programs listed above following prescribed admission procedures.
- Submission of an Academic Evaluation Report (DA Form 1059) showing completion of USASMA program, class 59 through 61, as "Achieved Course Standards" or "Exceeded Course Standards."
- Submission of an official transcript showing completion of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited academic institution.
Transfer Credit Awarded
Pre-approved Course Substitutions: The following courses from USASMA program are pre-approved course substitutions for the following graduate degrees: MBA, HRDV, MNGT, and SECR. Webster University courses do not substitute to the USASMA program.
