    U.S. Army Sergeant Majors Academy

    Webster University’s cooperative degree program with the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) provides pre-approved graduate transfer credit for USASMA resident and non-resident graduates of Class 59-61 (graduation May 2009 to May 2011) to the following degree programs:

    Transfer credits from the USASMA cooperative degree Class 59-61 (graduation May 2009 to May 2011) are limited to 9-12 credit hours depending on the degree program selected.  Transfer credits can not be applied to other degree programs.

    Graduates of USASMA beginning with Class 62 will not be eligible for graduate transfer credit at Webster University. This determination is based on the American Council on Education's ACE evaluation of Version 6 for the USASMA Resident Course (ACE Exhibit AR-1408-0148) and of Version 3 of the USASMA Non-resident Course (ACE Exhibit AR-1408-0328).

    Eligibility Requirements

    1. Completion of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy program as a resident or non-resident student of the class of 59-61.
    2. Application and admission to one of the Webster University graduate programs listed above following prescribed admission procedures.

    Documentation

    1. Submission of an Academic Evaluation Report (DA Form 1059) showing completion of USASMA program as "Achieved Course Standards" or "Exceeded Course Standards."
    2. Submission of an official transcript showing completion of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited academic institution.

    Pre-approved Course Substitutions: The following courses from USASMA program are pre-approved course substitutions.  Webster University courses do not substitute to the USASMA program.

    Steps to Admission

    Military student requirements for admission are as follows:

    • Submit an Academic Evaluation Report (DA Form 1059), when applicable.
    • Submit an official transcript showing completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
    • Complete and submit a Webster University application.
    • Applicants are not required to complete the GRE, GMAT or MAT.
    • Letters of recommendation are not required.
