Minor in Music

The music program is one of the most popular fields in the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts at Webster University. Music students also have an opportunity a study abroad at Webster's Vienna Campus, which is one of the world's oldest musical capitals.

The minor in music is designed for a broad understanding of the music discipline through the study of performance, music theory, and music literature. This program allows a student to investigate diverse areas of music within a flexible curricular framework.

(Note: As part of the Webster application process, students planning to major or minor in music will also audition with the department.)
