Moody AFB is located 10 miles northeast of Valdosta, on Georgia Highway 125. Weather is hot and humid in the summer, mild and wet in the winter. Moody AFB is the home of the 23rd Rescue Wing, the only active duty rescue wing in the Air Force. Other organizations include the 479th Flying Training Group and the 820th Security Forces Group.

Webster opened its door at Moody on March 17, 2003 with classes scheduled to start in August. We are located in the Education and Training Center at 3010 Robinson Road. Degree candidates include active duty and retired military personnel, their spouses, and DOD civilians, as well as the general public.

Webster provides contemporary and challenging educational opportunities to adult learners while recognizing the motivation and maturity they bring into the classroom.

Our mission is to help students clearly achieve their educational objectives and to equip them as lifelong learners.
