Director's Message
The Little Rock Metropolitan Campus offers the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and the Master of Arts (M.A.). The Master of Business Administration is 36 to 60 semester hours and is structured for students desiring a quantitative orientation in their advanced degree. The M.B.A. can be completed in approximately two years. Webster's M.B.A. differs from some other M.B.A. programs in that students can select an area of emphasis. The Master of Arts requires 36 semester hours with a qualitative orientation. The M.A. can be completed in approximately 15 months. The Little Rock Metropolitan Campus offers the following degree areas of study.
Webster programs are designed to accommodate the working professional whose career advancement and professional growth require the skills and knowledge provided by a graduate degree. The class format is five nine-week terms each year. Students attend class one evening a week from 5:30 to 9:40 p.m. Each extended campus creates a student-centered environment for you, our client.

Webster University faculty brings both academic and professional qualifications
to the classroom. Faculty members are academically qualified to teach at
the graduate level, and they work in the profession in which they teach.
This enables them to blend academic theories with real-life experiences
in the business world. Small classes and individualized attention permit
the extra measure that marks a quality educational experience. The challenging,
rigorous curriculum is standard for Webster University. Students are assigned
projects involving real-world situations. The textbook provides the theory,
and the business world provides actual case studies.

The student must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by one of the regional accrediting agencies to apply for admission to the Webster University graduate degree programs. We place the responsibility on the student to demonstrate the ability to do graduate level work. All students must maintain a B or better average to remain in the program.

Director's MessageIn 1975, Webster University began offering graduate-degree classes at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville. Participation in the program was not limited to military personnel. Many local residents received their Master of Arts degree by taking classes at LRAFB Jacksonville. Non-military participation in the classes continued to grow, and in 1986 the University opened the Little Rock Metropolitan Campus. As an established member of the Arkansas academic community, the Little Rock Metropolitan Campus maintains administrative services, classroom and computer facilities, and a learning resource center to better serve the student clientele. |
