Theory Pedagogy Workshop |
June 23-25, 2015
School teachers who find themselves teaching music theory, without ever really thinking
about how to teach music theory, especially to teenagers, will find this workshop especially
helpful!
This three-day workshop will provide junior high and high school teachers resources to implement effective music theory and aural skills instruction in a variety of ways. Through participation in interactive sessions, participants will design exercises and lesson outlines that could be used in classes, rehearsals, and applied lessons.
The workshop includes at least 15 hours of instruction over three days, and is suitable for one Continuing Education Unit in the state of Missouri. Graduate credit is not available at this time.
Here's the syllabus.
