Information Packet with "Graduation Participation Form". Click here

Students completing all degree requirements by the SU 2020 term are encouraged to participate in the ceremony. Students who are in their last term are also extended the opportunity to participate in the graduation ceremony, with the permission of the Dean or Campus Director. It should be noted that the students' name will not be printed in the program, but their name may be read from the stage. If you plan to participate in the ceremony, please complete the following steps:

1. Submit a Petition to Graduate
Students who satisfy their degree requirements must complete an online Petition to Graduate when you start your last term. The main campus will not confer your degree or release your diploma until this form has been received.  Please note: A student who completes a graduate degree, (including all required, elective, and transfer courses) while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.950, will be eligible for Graduate Academic Honors.  Accelerated sequential degrees are excluded from this designation. Students are responsible for purchasing their honor cords.

2. Business Office Account Status
Diplomas and transcripts will not be released until your account balance is clear ($0). Credit card payments are subject to a 2.75% convenience fee. Check payments have a holding period of 10 days before release of transcripts. For more information, call the Business Office at 1-800-981-9803. No financial transactions are processed at the local campus.

3. Response Form
You must submit and complete the response form to confirm your participation in the 2020 Commencement Ceremony. This year, due to the change in venue, we will also need to know the number of attendees for each student.
