Faculty Composers' Concert- 11/30/12
The Webster University Faculty Composers' Concert features the work of faculty composers
Melissa Bishop, Duane Bridges, Jeffrey Carter, David Nalesnik, Matt Pace, Kim Portnoy,
Carol Schmidt, Kendall Stallings and John Thomas. The compositions will include a
wide range of styes and genres including contemporary "classical", electronic, jazz,
pop and a hybrid or two.
The musicians include the Webster University Faculty String Quartet: Alison Rolf and Susie Thierbach (violins), Anna Lackschewitz (viola) and Ken Kulosa (cello), and pianists, Vera Parkin, David Nalesnick and Carol Schmidt. Also featured are vocalists Melissa Bishop, Jeffrey Carter and Natalie Huggins, and instrumentalists: Carla Colletti (oboe), Jay Hutson (bass clarinet), Eric Ring (bassoon), Paul DeMarinis (saxophone) and Ric Vice (bass).
