“Symphony Tuesday” Concert Series- 2/19/13

Webster University presents the “Symphony Tuesday” concert series on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Thompson Recital Hall.  Nicolae Bica, a second violinist with the St. Louis Symphony, is teaming up with pianist Daniel Schene, professor of music at Webster University, for this concert. 

Bica earned a Master of Music degree in orchestral performance from Webster University in 2001, and is looking forward to playing at his alma mater.  Bica and Schene will present an all-French program including “Faure Sonata for Violin and Piano,” followed by a piece by Francis Poulenc.  The concert is free and open to the public.
