Benjamin Britten Centenary Concert- 3/5/13

Webster University Choirs present a Benjamin Britten Centenary Concert as part of the Shepley Concert Series at Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m.  Performing ensembles include the Webster University Chamber Singers and Concert choir, under the direction of Dr. Trent Patterson, assistant professor of music at Webster University. The Women's Chorus will also perform under the direction of music professor Martha Hart.

Guest artists include: Dr. Charlene Archibeque, emeritus director of choral programs at San Jose State University in California; Keith Boyer, tenor; Derrick Fox, baritone; Glen Bauer, Ph.D., associate chair of the Department of Music and associate professor of musicology; Celeste Golden Boyer, violin; Dr. Carla Colletti, oboe; and Andrew J. Peters, organ. Adjunct music faculty performing include: Erin Elstner, Erik Harris, Ken Kulosa, Anna Lackschewitz, Joe Neske, Alison Rolf, Sue Taylor and Susie Thierbach. The repertoire includes: Cantata Misericordium, Psalm 150, Rejoice in the Lamb, and selections from Friday Afternoons.
