Understanding how to navigate course content is very important. If you are comfortable with navigating your course, you will be able to focus on other areas of importance such as preparing for quizzes, writing papers, and collaborating for your group projects.

How do I navigate in my online course?

Your course is organized in a way that allows you to navigate through course material in a logical way. Weekly content will be grouped together in modules and will be labeled. While each course is setup differently, most instructors will begin the course with the Course Homepage. The Course Homepage is made up of a table of contents with links to the weekly modules. In addition, course tools such as Syllabus, Assigments, Assessments, Mail, and Discussions are accessible from anywhere in your course through the Course Tools menu. The Course Tools menu is always located on the left side of the Course Home Page and can be expanded or collapsed.
