Pop Up Blockers

Blackboard Vista uses pop-up windows for several tools, such as discussions and e-mails. If you use a program that prevents windows from popping up or opening, then you will not be successful using Blackboard Vista tools. You will need to configure your program to allow Blackboard Vista to open new pop-up windows.

Please Note: If you have successfully passed the browser check in the previous step, there is still a chance that you may have issues with pop-up blockers. 3rd party plugins such as Yahoo! Toolbar, Google Toolbar, or other add-ons provided by your Internet Service Provider, may not have been detected through the browser checkup tool.
