Effective Fall 2009, Webster University has partnered with MBS Direct to deliver better priced options and money-saving solutions for all online course textbooks. Through the online bookstore you have access to the nation’s largest inventory of used textbooks and the most competitive prices on new textbooks.

Purchasing textbooks and course materials is convenient, simple and secure. Once you have placed your order with MBS Direct, it will be shipped within 24 hours, and you can select from several shipping options including next-day air.

Textbooks and related course materials for fully online courses can be ordered from Webster University's online bookstore at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/webster.htm.

Please note: This applies to ALL ONLINE COURSE MATERIAL regardless of the student's physical location. The bookstore at the home campus no longer handles book orders for the online programs. If you are taking a mixture of online and face-to-face courses at the St. Louis campuses, you will need to purchase your books seperately.

When ordering from the online bookstore:

• Check the title, author, edition, and ISBN number against the course syllabus.
• Allow plenty of time for textbooks to arrive before class.
• You will need your textbook during the first week of class.
• NOTE:  Please be aware when purchasing your textbooks that the International versions of the text may differ from the Domestic (North American) version required for your course.

Books for online courses are not available through the eFollett Bookstore that is used by students at the St. Louis campuses.

Money for Textbooks Program

Online students who have applied and been approved for Money for Textbooks may order their books online only at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/webster.htm. The Money for Textbooks program allows students to receive an advance on their financial aid, which can be used to purchase their textbooks and supplies in a timely fashion. Maximum amount is $600.00 per semester.

During the checkout process there is the payment option for Money for Textbooks, you will then be prompted to enter your student ID number and a Voucher ID (which will be sent to you) to process the order.
