Live Training
Live training will be offered frequently during the Spring and Summer of 07 to prepare faculty for migration to our new course platform, Blackboard Vista, for all Fall 07 online courses.
Spring/Summer 07 Live Training and Lab ScheduleTypes of training offered:
Faculty training: These sessions are designed to
give faculty experience in performing the common tasks encountered when using
Blackboard Vista while using a practice course. During the summer migration
period, faculty will also be given access to their migrated course to preview
and practice setting up. During the migration period, faculty
must receive notification that their course has been migrated before attending.
Hours: 9a - 3:30p offered periodically
Note: Some sessions are closed to SBT faculty only and are noted on the schedule
Online Training and Documentation:
Available online starting June 07. An online, printable tutorial along
with extensive documentation will be available to faculty. A practice
course will be provided should faculty choose to participate in the tutorial.
Lab sessions: These sessions are open to faculty who have received their
online course and wish to work with an ADLC professional to set up and work
with their course.
Hours: 2 hour sessions
