Parents Weekend

New Student Orientation Weekend


The weekend before classes begin in August, all new students and their families are welcomed to the Webster campus with a weekend long orientation program. The following two events are held for parents only.

Educational Session for Freshman Parents - Various authors have come to campus to speak to parents about how life changes for parents and students now that college is part of their lives.

Reception with the President - Freshman parents have the opportunity to meet with President Stroble, other administrators, and fellow parents.

Family Weekend


Usually held the last weekend of September in conjunction with Homecoming, this weekend gives parents and family members an opportunity to see what college life is like for their student as well to enjoy the festivities planned on campus. Events include a receptions, jazz concerts, annual student vs. alumni flag football game, and much more.

Various Events Throughout the Year

Other events are held throughout the year that bring parents together with one another as well as alumni. These events create a great networking opportunity and great conversation as parents learn about the Webster of the past from our alumni.
