U.S. News and World Report
Webster University continuously ranks in the top tier of the Midwest region of the U.S. News and World Report college rankings, moving up to 24 in the 2013 edition, while the Study Abroad program
again received special recognition (see below). Webster's nursing and nurse anesthesia
graduate programs ranked as two of the nation's best graduate schools and programs in U.S. News and World Report in 2011.
The publication's 2013 Best Online Programs report ranks Webster University’s online graduate education programs 1st in Missouri and 27th nationwide. Online graduate business programs rank 3rd in Missouri and 62nd nationwide.
Forbes Magazine
Webster is recognized among America's Best Colleges as ranked by Forbes magazine for three consecutive years.
International
Webster University, with campuses in North America, Europe and Asia, has been recognized
as a leader in international education for more than 30 years.
U.S. News and World Report
Study Abroad programs rank in the top 2 percent of the 1,600 colleges and universities surveyed in the “America’s Best Colleges”
2013 edition of U.S. News & World Report. The distinction recognizes study abroad
programs that involve substantial academic work for credit and considerable interaction
between the student and the culture.
Institute of International Education's Open Doors
The Institute of International Education’s (IIE) annual Open Doors report ranked Webster ninth among all U.S. master’s degree-granting institutions for study
abroad of a semester-long duration, and first in the same category among Midwestern
institutions.
Military
Webster University and the U.S. Department of Defense have worked together for nearly
40 years to provide high-quality and cost-effective graduate programs at military
installations and other locations throughout the country.
Our distinguished alumni include more than 200 active duty and retired generals and
admirals, including several at the Pentagon and Joint Chiefs of Staff and thousands
of military personnel as well as retired military.
G.I. Jobs
The university has been recognized as a military-friendly school by G.I. Jobs magazine for the past several years.

The Military Times named Webster University to its “2013 Best for Vets: Colleges” list, based on a survey of more than 650 schools.

Once again in 2013 Military Advanced Education magazine recognized Webster as a top school for military students.

students can be successful and earn degrees.
Diverse: Issues in Higher Education
Webster University's graduate degree-seeking student population represents the largest
number of individuals of diverse backgrounds among all traditional, non-profit U.S.
higher education institutions, according to a 2011 survey published in Diverse: Issues in Higher Education (DIHE). The "Top 100 Degree Producers" survey for 2011 is the only national report of graduate
degrees earned by African American, Hispanic, Asian American and American Indian students
by U.S. colleges and universities. Webster has consistently achieved top rankings
since DIHE began publishing the survey in 1991.

Webster University is one of the best colleges to work for , according to the fifth annual workplace survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education – one of the most respected publications serving the academic community. Webster
has received top honors in The Chronicle's annual survey every year since its inception in 2008.
