    2011 Clery Crime and Fire Reports

    Webster University’s annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off campus buildings owned or controlled by Webster University; and on public property within; or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

    Statistics are compiled by the Department of Public Safety along with other departments of Webster University prepares and compiles statistics for this report.

    Final statistics are compiled and published by the Department of Public Safety using the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Handbook. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies pertaining to drug and alcohol use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other pertinent matters as required by the act.

    The annual report will also be submitted to the Department of Education and to the students and staff of Webster University by October 1st of each year.

    Daily Log

    The university community is kept aware of reported incidents on campus and in the nearby community through the student newspaper and in the daily crime log located at the Department of Public Safety.

    The crime log is open to public inspection for the most recent 60-day period during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, except holidays and closure of school.

    Any portion of the log beyond 60 days, if not immediately available will be made accessible within two business days of a request for inspection being made.
