Paulo Sousa received his Ph.D. in Anthropology and Culture & Cognition at the University of Michigan. His research interests focus in the field of cognition and culture. He also applies an epidemiological approach to the history of ideas of anthropology that has proved very controversial. Dr. Sousa has studied the folk conceptions of mind, agency and morality, religious representations and kinship relatedness. Currently, he is working on a book on the folk concept of moral responsibility.
