GI Bill

• All students who are receiving either the Montgomery GI Bill Active duty or Selected Reserve MUST now verify their enrollments monthly to receive payments. This verification can either be done online or via the automated telephone system.

Regulatory Changes impact Financial Aid Processes

The most recent regulatory change states that from this point forward students will have to identify which lender they prefer to receive student loans from. Students that do not identify their lender preference will have a delay in their financial aid processing as we will have to follow up with them to get this information.

New Webster financial Aid Applications can be found on our website (see Graduate Lender Selection below). There are specific forms for the four lenders most of our students have borrowed through in the past as well as a generic form where a student can identify some other lender (all participating lenders are referenced on the website for them - you can view that list by clicking on the National Lender List link). Please remember if you access the generic form and do not identify your lender preference the application process will be delayed and you will not receive an award until you provide lender information.

Entrance Loan Counseling

If the Entrance Loan Counseling link printed on the financial aid application is not working, use the following link to the financial aid webpage then click "#2 Loan Entrance Counseling". http://admissions.webster.edu/admissions/finaid/apply.asp  This link will take you to Entrance Loan Counseling seminar provided by Wachovia and required by the government before you receive your Stafford Loan.
