Conclusions

The tension between global and local at the core of the Webster experience makes Webster unique. This quality is both a strength and a challenge for the university as it attempts to engage with its constituencies and communicate the extent and richness of that engagement both internally and eternally.

The self-study process has made clear many ways in which Webster recognizes its constituencies and serves them, as well as that Webster values and is valued by its constituencies. Moreover, the self-study indicates that the University continues to strive to satisfy its constituencies to a greater degree and in new ways over time.
