Mission and Integrity
The self-study found that the institution does operate with integrity, and that it ensures the fulfillment of our mission through structures and processes that engage our Trustees, our faculty and administration, our staff, and our students. The self study made no significant recommendations regarding Criterion One.
The self-study was pleased that its focused discussions on mission and core values transitioned into a University-wide effort to update (shorten) the mission statement, and to develop a succinct list of our institutional “core values.” This work took place during 2007, and is currently part of a new draft Strategic Plan.
