Webster University is located at the education center on Shaw Air Force Base near Sumter, South Carolina. Shaw Air Force Base is home to the 20th Fighter Wing, the F-16, Flying Falcons, and the Army's Battlefield Coordination Detachment. The city of Sumter is home to nationally known companies such as Caterpillar Inc., Cooper Tools, and Becton Dickson and Company.

Students affiliated with the base, as well as students from the Sumter community, are welcome to attend Webster University’s three graduate programs (and one certificate program) at Shaw Air Force Base. With the goal of meeting the needs of the working adult, Webster University has developed courses which prepare graduates with cognitive, theoretical, and practical skills necessary to thrive in today's professional environment.
