Overview

Management is the art and science of effectively coordinating people and resources to achieve the goals of an organization. It includes the administration of commerce and industry, banking, insurance, health, communications, government, and various facets of culture, education, and the arts. Students study principles and institutions through accounting, management, and economics, as well as the humanities, mathematics, and political and social sciences. The Department of Business and Management prepares dstudents for graduate studeies, law school, and business careers.

The Charleston Metropolitan Campus of Webster University offers an upper-division degree-completion program in Management for adults with professional work experience and the equivalent of two or more years of previous college-level work.
