Frequently Asked Questions

Academic Advising

Must I have a Program Plan before I begin my course work?
No, but since it will serve as a road map for your studies, a Plan must be completed by the end of your first term of enrollment. In consultation with an Academic Advisor, the Plan may be revised from time to time as conditions warrant.

When my Program Plan calls for an elective course, am I restricted as to which courses I may take?
No, you may choose any course which is offered at Webster University if you satisfy the prerequisites, excepting Counseling courses which are restricted to only those pursuing that degree.

What happens if I want to switch to a different degree program?
You must meet with an Academic Advisor in order to complete the required form and to prepare a new Program Plan.
