In 2005 and 2006, U.S. News & World Report ranked Webster University 25th in the Top Tier "Best Universities-Master's" category for the Midwest division. Webster has also earned the distinction of awarding more graduate degrees to African-Americans than any other institution in the United States, and the university ranks eleventh nationally with regards to awarding Master's degrees to Hispanics.
