Webster University has offered courses in Brevard County since 1993 and opened the Merritt Island Campus in 1995. In March 1997, the campus expanded to the Palm Bay area and in 2002 opened full-service campuses at Brevard Community College in Palm Bay and on Patrick AFB. Classes are also offered in Daytona Beach, Melbourne, and for badged employees only onsite at Northrop Grumman Corporation in Melbourne and Kennedy Space Center. More than 1,600 Brevard residents have graduated from Webster University during its fourteen years on the Space Coast.
