Meet the Special Events Staff
Nancy Higgins, Director: Ceremonies and Events, and her staff coordinate University-wide and targeted outreach special events for the University President and Development Office. These include Board of Trustees events, donor relation events, groundbreakings, building dedications, guest speakers, Convocation and Commencement.
Nancy has over 30 years of event planning experience. Before joining the Webster University team in 2002, she worked at Lents & Associates, The Booksource, KMOX Radio and the Library Ltd. Bookstore.
Nancy, a 2013 graduate of the Global Leadership Academy, holds a BA in Communications from Saint Louis University and a MA in Media Communications/Public Relations from Webster University.
Heather Arora is a Special Events Coordinator with the Office of Special Events. She has 14 years of experience in the special events field having worked at the Missouri Botanical Garden and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society before coming to Webster University in 2009.
She is responsible for planning and implementation of a variety of events for the President's Office and the Development Office, including donor lunch and dinners, such as the Daniel Webster Society Dinner, as well as the University's community service day, Webster Works Worldwide.
She holds BA in Communication from Truman State University.
