Freshman and transfer students with a minimum 3.3 GPA, ACT scores of 26 or SAT of 1200 are eligible. Applicants must document extracurricular activities and leadership involvement. Awards are renewable based on the following criteria:
- Participation in leadership scholar meetings each semester.
- Membership and involvement in at least one club (flexible with off-campus involvement in church or other community service).
- Involvement in planning at least one club event.
- Maintenance of a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA; maximum award of eight consecutive semesters.
- Involvement in the Leadership Certificate Program.
