Gladys Smith earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University, a Master's in Health Science from Washington University, St. Louis and a M.Ed in Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. She is a Certified Advanced Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She is Board Certified in Trauma Counseling (BCTC), and is a Sexual Assault Advocate. Prior to coming to Webster, Gladys worked in substance abuse treatment centers and psychiatric hospitals. She served for 15 years in the United States Navy as a medic and counselor in Subic Bay, Philippines; Keflavic, Iceland; Guam, Hong Kong, Scotland and throughout the United States. She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority, the Coalition of 100 Black Women, Chi Sigma Iota, the American Business Women's Association and is an instructor for the American Red Cross, American Lung Association and American Heart Association. Gladys also serves as the staff advisor for Peer Education Zeitgeist (PEZ), a student organization promoting Wellness, AOD education and prevention and responsible lifestyle choices. Sandy Davis is in her second year here at Webster and is a Provisionally Licensed Counselor in the State of Missouri working towards obtaining her full license. She completed her M.Ed. in Counselor Education and her B.S. in Behavioral Science at Missouri Baptist University. Sandy has counseling experience with children, adolescents, college students, and adults in previous counseling settings. Sandy is a member of the Student Success Committee and works with the Academic Research Center as an academic counselor. Sandy s interests in life issues include the effects of divorce, stress and depression management, and personal self-identification.

My name is Dave Hermanson. I am a graduate student at the University of Missouri. St. Louis, seeking a Master's degree of Education in Counseling. I am serving as a Counseling Intern at Webster University under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Stack. I hold an Associates degree in physical therapy, a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. I have also worked as a fire fighter/EMT in the city of St. Louis and as a computer help desk specialist.

Jerry Olive is currently serving as a Counseling Intern. He earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Memphis and Master of Arts from Webster University. Jerry will receive a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in May of 2008.
