As new students rush to move into their rooms, Orientation Leaders and Webster volunteers like Student Government Association will be helping to lighten the load. We will try to assist everyone by making the process as easy and efficient as possible by carrying boxes and bags, directing traffic and guiding new students and their families. TO HELP MAKE THIS PROCESS EASIER, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU MARK ALL OF YOUR ITEMS WITH YOUR NAME, HALL, AND ROOM NUMBER.

9 am–5 pm Orientation Check-in and One Stop Shopping
Explore one stop shopping where you will find important information for everything from banking to your Webster email address. New students can stop by here to register and pick up information packets, meal, and excursion tickets for the upcoming weekend.

7 pm– Resident floor meeting

Your first meeting with the rest of the people you will be living with during your first year here at Webster. Your RA will give you vital information about the Resident hall and Campus.

New students and family members join Webster University’s president Neil George and other Webster administrators for the official kick off to the weekend.

10 am–11 am Keys to Success: The Webster Way
Join the Dean of Students and Orientation staff as we share expectations for students and the keys to a successful and happy college experience at Webster.

11 am–noon Adventure Meetings
The Orientation leaders are upper class students who will be like your mentors, at this time we provide small groups that give you an opportunity to ask questions and discuss any issues.

1:30 pm–2:30 pm Dean’s Welcome and Faculty Reception
Join the Deans and Faculty members of your specific school for an overview of Webster’s five colleges and schools (Fine Arts, Communications, Arts and Sciences, Business and Technology, and Education) This program gives students and family members the chance to meet and ask questions of the Deans and Faculty members before classes begin.

Introducing the on campus resident’s to the Residential life staff and equipping commuters with critical information. Also commuter students will be able to enter a drawing for a free parking pass.

4:30 pm–5:30 pm Adventure Meetings/ Parent Reception
Meeting once again with your Orientation groups will be beneficial for you to ask any questions you may have.

7:30 pm–8:30 pm Campus Issues
New students and their families are invited to attend one of the most popular Orientation programs; a collection of skits performed by the Orientation Leaders. This provocative production exposes various real life issues students may encounter during their college experience.

8:30 pm-9 pm Student and Parent Discussion
Directly following Campus Issues there will be a discussion time for parents and students together to ask questions and concerns they may have about the production they just saw.

This time give students and parents time apart to ask individual questions about Campus Issues.

Webster offers study abroad opportunities all over the world, if you hope to study abroad during your time at Webster this is probably the best chance to find out what we have to offer and to get as much information as you possibly can about studying abroad.

Everyone likes money right? You can apply for a job on campus, whether you are work study or Budget. Come to this information session to find out where the best student employment opportunities are located and to get tons of other information about the details of student employment.

Gather to pump up for the cardinals before attending their game.

Don’t Worry Transportation will be provided. After the game we will be visiting a familiar St. Louis landmark, because we want you to know and love St. Louis as much as we do! This is how we will end our weekend.
