Deferred Tuition Plan
From the Business Office

With tuition, fees, room, board, and other expenses, college is pricey and managing your budget is complicated. The Deferred Tuition Plan (DTP) introduces a new and easy way for graduate students and undergraduates to pay their educational cost. The DTP takes away some of the stress of paying tuition by allowing you to stretch the payments over time.

DTP is an interest free alternative, in which students can budget for a summer, fall, or spring semester plan. The process is simple: each budget is divided into two (2) or four (4) equal installments, with a $25.00 activation fee for each term. Never worry about paying/mailing a bill; each month, your credit card or checking account payment is automatically deducted. Webster University then sends you an invoice each month to show the status of your payments. The semester enrollment fee is the only additional cost to help cover administrative expenses. The plan also allows up to three people to pay for the tuition coverage.

Although the main deadlines have already passed, you can still sign up for this DTP process. If you sign up before January 7, 2004, you will owe 2 payments plus your application fee. A detailed deadline chart for late enrollment process is located on the web site, https://www.mbcomp.com/aes/applications/instructions.asp
The web-site also shows complete details about the DTP process.

It is important to remember that if you do not participate in the DTP plan or other approved payment arrangements, payment for the current semester must be paid in full two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. If you have any questions about the DTP plan, contact Vincent Stovall, Bursar, in the Business Office at (314) 968-7104 or stovallv@webster.edu.

Advanced Education Services, Inc (AES) of Harrisburg, PA serves as Webster University’s Monthly Payment Plan Administrator (mediator) for the DTP process. If you have any questions or wish any additional information, you may contact them at: 1-800-932-8409 or custserve@aesppm.com
