Registration for spring semester begins the week of November 10. Full undergraduate registration begins Wednesday, November 12. As usual we will have a staggered start. Advanced registration for seniors (90 credits at the end of the semester) begins Monday, November 10. Advanced registration for juniors (60 credits at the end of the current semester) commences on Tuesday, November 11. All undergraduates will be eligible to register on Wednesday, November 12.

Each day online registration will begin at 5:00 a.m., CST. However no telephone help for problem registrations will be available until the Registrar’s Office opens at 8:00 a.m., CST.

In person registration will begin at the Registrar’s Office each day (November 10-12) at 8:00 am. and at Academic Advising at 8:30 a.m.

Students must contact their academic advisor to discuss their spring schedule of classes and get clearance to register. Students must also make sure that their financial accounts are in good standing with the business office so that they can register for the spring semester.

Students have access to their final grades on-line through the Academic Services link on the Connections portal. For more information about this, see:
http://www.webster.edu/academics/registration.shtml

Some parents have contacted various offices on campus looking to obtain information about mid-term grades and updates on the attendance records of their students. It is best to get this information directly from your son or daughter. No one office at Webster would have information on the attendance of a particular student in all of their classes. We do not have a system of collecting mid-term grades for students. We only enter final grades into the student database.

If students do not have a clear idea of how they are doing in a particular course, they should contact their professor directly. Some instructors will make it a point of telling each student where they stand around mid-semester. As a freshman seminar instructor, I make it a point to schedule individual appointments with my students to share their informal mid-term grade with them and talk about their progress in my course.
