Welcome to the eighth issue of the 2008-09 academic year for Staying Connected, a newsletter for parents of first-year students.

Registration for Fall
First-year students can begin registering for Fall Semester classes on April 8. All undergraduate registration requires advisor approval. Students must make appointments to discuss their schedule with their advisor well in advance of this very busy time period. All outstanding judicial and financial issues must also be resolved prior to registration.

Campus Dining Services: Student Feedback Shows Improvement

During the month of November, we collected customer satisfaction surveys from 450 students, faculty, and staff. 37% of the respondents were first-year students, reflective of the high percentage of freshmen among our meal plan participants. MORE

Delegates’ Agenda Discussion
Webster University Officers’ Summit – Spring 2009

Approximately 75 student leaders from the Student Government Association and student organizations attended a session on February 13 and generated the list of 26 items shown below. They then voted for the top seven (7) items that they wanted to see discussed at the February 19 session with key university administrators. MORE

Parents Weekend – Spring 2009

Webster University invites all parents and family members to campus this spring for a fun and informational weekend. Spend time with your student, catch a baseball or softball game, attend an informational session, meet other parents, and take in the sights and sounds of “Springfest” on campus. MORE
