Freshman Profiles About Staying Connected |
Webster University News Updates Construction in Loretto Hall Construction has begun on a section of Loretto Hall. The building is in the shape of a “T” and administrative offices already occupy the stem of the “T.” The top of the “T” contained residence hall rooms until two years ago. The interiors of this section of the building were demolished last year. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the space, this is the southern portion of the building that runs east and west. Pinnacle Contracting began mobilization on campus August 20. This project is planned in several phases of work and is anticipated to last through the first quarter of 2010. This work will require some changes to the ways that students navigate Loretto Hall on a daily basis. The changes are outlined below:

As these occurrences arise we will provide updates to the University community. Excerpts from President’s Letter to University Community We continue to attract a diverse and exceptional group of students. Many universities worried about this freshman class in light of the current national economic situation. We are pleased to report that our St. Louis new full-time freshmen class totals 474 students, an increase of 13% over last year. We have approximately 3,300 undergraduate students in St. Louis; our graduate programs in St. Louis bring us an additional 4,100 students for a total of 7,500 students studying in St. Louis this fall. 22 new full-time faculty have now joined us at the home campus, including five individuals in new positions. They join our highly qualified full-time faculty and valued working professionals who are committed first and foremost to our students’ learning and success. |
