Note About Student Health Services

In the Campus Link portion of this newsletter, there is a good article entitled Supporting Sick Students. In the article, there is a paragraph which encourages you to push sick students to go to the health center. This includes a suggestion that they might get a prescription at the health center. At Webster University, our Student Health Services is a nurse-directed facility and therefore cannot prescribe medication. If a student needs to see a doctor to get a prescription, our staff can assist with making this referral.
