Flu Vaccines – Seasonal Flu and H1N1 Ann Brophy, Director of Student Health Services The Student Health Services Department received doses of Seasonal Flu vaccine and H1N1 vaccine and offered these vaccinations to the Webster University staff, faculty and students until the supply is exhausted. There was no fee associated with this service. If students wanted to receive either or both of these vaccinations, they were asked to call 314 246-6922 and make an appointment with our receptionist. The Center for Disease Control has announced that they are beginning to see the Seasonal Flu appear and they are predicting that H1N1 will be returning in the Spring. The Student Health Services Department administered the vaccine every morning beginning Wednesday, January 27, 2010 through Friday January 29 from 9:00am-11:00 am. This announcement was sent to the parents of first-year students on January 27, using the same email distribution list that is used for the Parent Newsletter. |
