Staying Connected: Any advice for parents?
Anthony Butler: Don’t worry so much!

SC: Any advice for freshmen?
AB: Go out and join organizations, don’t just stay in your room. And do your work early.

SC: What has been your best on campus experience?
AB: I’ve had so many of them. Finding people I relate to closely and being able to hang out with them. I really have no complaints.

SC: What has been your worst on campus experience?
AB: Walking over to Marletto’s and finding it closed… again. And dealing with crazy people living in the dorms.

SC: Is your current workload with classes more or less than you thought it would be?
AB: A lot less.

SC: What do your weekends usually consist of doing?
AB: I work on homework, hang out with my friends, practice my saxophone, and work.

SC: What do you miss most about high school and/or living at home?
AB: I really don’t miss high school. High school’s cool, but this beats high school by a long shot. As for home, I miss being able to see my parents and family and eating good food.

SC: Do you have an on campus job? If so, where/how many hours a week?
AB: Yes, I work at the community music school. About 8-10 hours a week.

SC: Favorite aspects of on campus life?
AB: Independence is the main thing, plus it’s a lot easier to hang out with people living on campus.

SC: What’s on your desk right now?
AB: My computer, a couple books, some music, and a half eaten sandwich.

Staying Connected: Any advice for freshmen?
Sam Mosley: Be willing to trust your son or daughter because they’re smarter than you think!

SC: Any advice for freshmen?
CM: Come in with an open mind and an open heart and be willing to step out of your comfort zone. Make the best of your college experience.

SC: What has been your best on campus experience?
CM: Definitely the friends I have made, because I’ve met some really awesome people, which is the best.

SC: What has been your worst on campus experience?
CM: Nothing really bad has happened to me, except that time that I got my foot cut off in a bear trap.

SC: Is your current workload with classes more or less than you thought it would be?
CM: Just about right.

SC: What do your weekends usually consist of doing?
CM: Some weekends I have extracurricular activities to do, and some weekends I just relax and hang out, do homework, and sometimes I go home.

SC: What do you miss most about high school and/or living at home?
CM: I miss my mom’s cooking. Absolutely. I miss being involved in theater in high school; it was my favorite thing ever.

SC: Do you have an on campus job? If so, where/how many hours a week?
CM: No.

SC: Favorite aspects of on campus life?
CM: I like the buildings, I think they’re fun. I like old buildings, that’s probably one of my favorite parts. And I like the fact that people play their instruments all the time, like I can go in someone’s dorm room and we can just jam. I think that’s really cool.

SC: What’s on your desk right now?
CM: My computer, books, papers, a Zpac, Tylenol Sinus.
