Webster University Health Insurance

Probably one of the most confusing, yet critical necessities for college life is health insurance. Here’s an attempt to make it easier. And for the parents who already have coverage for their child, keep reading, we might save you some money. Health insurance is required for students living on campus, studying on a student visa, nurse anesthesia students, and athletes. The coverage must be continuous remaining in effect until the next August and be comparable to or better than the Webster University Policy. Students may waive participation in the Webster plan if they currently have other health insurance and present an insurance card by the 10th day of the semester. Contact Health Services for exemption requirements.

Webster University offers health insurance to students taking at least one credit hour. No matter when you start or graduate, the coverage goes until August 7th. The charge for the insurance will be put on your student account. In comparison with other medical insurance companies, the insurance plan offered through Webster University can save hundreds of dollars without sacrificing important benefits. *See chart below for current rates
