Non-Webster Students

To apply to study abroad with Webster University as a non-Webster student, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Talk to your school's Study Abroad Office and your adviser

2. You apply to Webster University as a Non-Degree Seeking Student

    • System Access - In order to gain access to our online application portal, you must be registered at Webster University. If you have not previously applied to the University and activated a Connections account, you are required to apply as a Non-Degree Seeking student. Once you submit this application, you will receive an automated email confirming your application and including your next steps for completion. Another email will take 24-48 hours that allows you to active your Connections student account. You can set this up by following the directions you are sent.
    • Non-Degree Seeking Application (for visiting and affiliate students only) - On the application, please select:
      • Anticipated Entry Term - Fall, Spring or Summer (not I or II)
      • Campus Options and Location - Study Abroad (for both)
      • Address - Permanent Address
      • Social Security Number - required for affiliate WINS scholarship
      • Email address - main email for contact
      • Birth State/Province & Birth Country - required

3. Webster Admissions accepts your application

4. You receive an email confirming your acceptance

5. Webster adds you to our student information system

6. You activate your Webster Connections account

7. You apply to study abroad in our Terra Dotta application system

8. The Office of Study Abroad accepts your application and schedules a meeting with you

9. You attend Pre-Departure Orientation
