Faculty Leaders

We are glad that you are applying to lead a short-term program abroad. This training site was built to give you detailed guidelines to follow using Terra Dotta to submit your faculty-led proposal. Once your program has been approved and finalized, you will then be added to the Systems Admin group. Additional training can be found here.

Webster Faculty Leaders

  1. Familiarize yourself with the Short-Term Faculty Led Program Policy maintained by the Office of Study Abroad that can be found here.
  2. Meet with your department chair or program director to discuss your initial thoughts
  3. Meet with the Study Abroad Director to discuss the options available for the program
  4. Complete the Program Proposal Application in Terra Dotta
  5. Obtain recommendations from the Department Chair(s) and School/College Dean(s) to confirm their endorsement of the proposed program
  6. Submit completed proposal application to the Study Abroad Director be the corresponding deadline. Packet should include: application, program rationale, syllabus, resume/CV itinerary, program description, and budget estimate
  7. Office of Study Abroad Representative with collaboration from your department will create your short-term program brochure and open the application cycle for students.
  8. Receive administrative access in Terra Dotta to check on student applications, review materials, and create reports as needed.
