Webster's Global Commitment

How is Webster University globally committed to students?

Reflecting Webster University's commitment to global citizenship, students of all majors can choose from a wide variety of short-term courses.  The College of Arts and Sciences offers faculty-led programs focusing on Human Rights, International Law, international languages and cultures and more.

The Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts offers various faculty-led programs. Many students choose to maximize a full-length study abroad experience by enrolling in a short-term program that takes place while they are already overseas.

The George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology offers a special award, designated for students who are interested in enhancing their business education by participating in a study abroad opportunity. The Walker International Travel Award, covering up to $1,000 towards students' international program fees, was created by a special fund from Ambassador George Herbert Walker. Students who are actively pursuing a degree from the Walker School, and who are enrolled in business or management or technology courses, can take advantage of these opportunities, and apply now!
