I've always knew I wanted to study abroad in Thailand even before applying to Webster. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I wouldn't change for the world.
The Webster Thailand campus would offer school trips for the students to explore places they usually wouldn't go on their own. We went on a weekend trip to the ancient city of Ayutthaya and did a home-stay with the Thai families there. We went to the Ayutthaya historical park which covers the ruins of the old city. We also went to the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, which is a palace complex formerly used by the Thai kings. It was absolutely stunning. This trip helped me learned a lot about Thailand's history and its culture. It was an incredible experience.
One of the best things about studying abroad is that I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from around the world. I learned a lot about their country, their culture, their language, and hopefully they learned a lot about me. The friendships I made during my time in Thailand are the ones I'll never forget. They made my experience memorable and unforgettable.
Take the opportunity to study abroad while you can, you won't regret it. The best advice I can give is to be open-minded. Don't be afraid to explore and try things you haven't done. You'll thank yourself later for the opportunities you took.
