Students are required to find out if a visa is needed and procure the proper VISA for studying in the United Kingdom.  If needed, students will apply for a Tier 4 student visa and cannot do so until being formally accepted into the study abroad program by the Office of Study Abroad in St. Louis as well as Regent’s College in London.  For U.S. citizens, students are allowed to live and study in the U.K. up to 180 days without procuring a visa.  Information can be obtained by contacting the British Embassy or your regional consulate. Check their Web site for more information: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/.
