User Services
User Services is comprised of several teams that provide direct end-user service and
support. Desktop Technical Services (DTS) supports computer hardware, software and
peripherals. Media Services provides media-related support and resources for the School of Communications as
well as special event support for Webster. Lab Operations supports faculty and student
computing needs in campus learning spaces. ResTech provides limited computer support
for residential students.
Networking Technical Services
Networking Technical Services (NTS) oversees Webster's computing infrastructure. NTS
architects, manages, and supports the Webster systems that provide connectivity and
inter-campus communications, including campus phones, local and wide area networks,
and Internet accessibility. This team also serves administers hardware resources in
the Webster Groves computing center.
Project Management Office
The Project Management Office (PMO) works with Webster administrative departments to create repeatable processes and
framework. These processes and frameworks enable the delivery of systems and work
that are aligned with Webster's mission, vision and goals.
Information Services
Information Services is comprised of Information Services and the IT Service Desk.
These teams work together to ensure Webster constituencies receive superior IT customer
service. Information Services manages IT communications, IT training, metrics analysis,
ITIL adoption, and information security. The IT Service Desk is on the front line of IT customer service, fielding calls and emails from users
about various IT services.
Enterprise Information Systems
Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) provides planning, implementation, maintenance
and support services for Webster's administrative systems. These systems range from
small departmental applications to mission-critical enterprise systems, including
enterprise resource planning (ERP), email, business intelligence, web services, and
directory services. Responsibilities include database administration, system integration,
programming, system design and ongoing maintenance and support.
