Media Services

 

The Media Services Department, as part of IT-User Services, supports the mission of Webster University in three primary areas:

MEDIA CENTER - The management of equipment and facilities used by faculty and students in the School of Communications to accomplish their shared educational objectives and provide students with experience using professional equipment and facilities in audio, animation, film and video production.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND DARKROOM - Photography majors and other students (art, education, design, journalism, etc.) can take advantage of two professional photography studios, a wide selection of film and digital cameras, and a fully equipped darkroom and digital printing facility.

EVENT, MEETING AND CONFERENCE SUPPORT – Media services works with all campus organizations to support events that require audio/video technology to improve the effectiveness of speakers who visit campus, meetings, conferences and other events.  In addition, Media Services also supports VIDEO CONFERENCING on the Webster campus and technologies used in the classrooms.
