Project Management Office
Welcome to the Webster University Information Technology Project Management Office (PMO), established in the fall of 2011. The PMO is responsible for planning, directing, and ensuring the successful management of designated projects across the University. We have implemented and continue to mature a light weight project/portfolio management framework and processes based on industry recognized best practices that is practical, repeatable, efficient, effective and flexible, to enable adoption of consistent project/portfolio management throughout the University to enable delivery of incremental business value.

Enable Delivery of IT Services
- For IT driven projects, enable a systematic approach to empower the University to become good at project portfolio management
- Plan, direct, and ensure the successful management of designated projects
Advise and Report
Leadership/stakeholders project/portfolio status and resource planning for delivering identified initiatives
Provide and manage a framework for University Leadership to prioritize projects
- Maintain excellent open and collaborative communication with upper management/stakeholders within and across organizations
- Encourage cross-organizational consensus
