IT Cell Phone Support Information

IT will provide support for connecting Blackberries and iPhones to the email network. IT will not support other data devices such as the Palm Pre and Android based phones.

Individuals are responsible for backing up and transferring their own data (contacts, calendar, etc) if changing devices. Support for this is often available at the carriers retail store

Hourly employees with Webster owned cell phone plans still receive full University support. Please place a work order for your issue.

If your cell phone number changes, remember to update and verify your new phone number in the Webster Alerts text messaging system so you will continue to receive important weather and emergency alerts.
