What is Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of software for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, and cloud services.



Where is it installed on campus?

Adobe Creative Cloud applications are installed in Webster University academic labs, multimedia rooms, and the Emerson Library. 


Who is eligible to use Adobe Creative Cloud?

Active Webster University faculty, staff and enrolled students.



What software is included in the agreement?

What will happen to my files if I leave Webster University?

You will be able to retrieve or move your files for 30 days after you leave Webster University. You can create a free account on to keep your assets in, but if you want to edit or change your files, you will need to purchase a Creative Cloud Personal Subscription from Adobe.



How can I transfer my assets from one CC account to the other?

Where can I get assistance on how to use Adobe Creative Cloud?

  • Adobe has an extensive website containing self-paced tutorials available. Additional resources for faculty are available here and here. – Discounted software for Students

What: Adobe and Journey Ed software for use on personal computers only

Titles Include:

Why: To provide university discounts to Webster students for commonly used titles, and provide a personal use software distribution option for Webster’s International students.

Who: Currently enrolled Webster University students.

When: Available NOW globally!

How: Students can self-register their user ID and password here to purchase and download software to personal computers.



Please note that the Webster University IT Service Desk will not be able to provide support for, including forgotten passwords or any issues related to purchases and installations.


Adobe Opportunities for ALL Webster University Students

  • Adobe Analytics Challenge – For over 10 years, this competition has been a unique analytics-focused business case competition where university students are given the opportunity to use Adobe’s industry-leading analytics products and access to real-world data from leading organizations such as Starwood, Lenovo, Condé Nast, Comcast,, and Registration is open now, but HURRY before time runs out!

  • ADAA Awards - The ADAA is a global digital media competition for student creators. Connected to industry professionals, academic leaders, and top brands, the ADAA aims to launch the next generation of student careers. Prepare now, submissions will open again in February 2017.

  • Project 1324 - Project 1324 and Sundance Institute are teaming up for a short film challenge to find bold new voices in the next generation of filmmakers. Fifteen eligible winners will become Sundance Ignite Fellows, and receive a trip to the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, a year-long mentorship, and more. Submissions are closed for this year, but it isn’t too early to prepare for 2017!

  • Adobe’s Creative Residency program - The Adobe Creative Residency supports the creative community and honors individuals whose work elevates the role of visual content in our culture. The program empowers talented individuals to spend a year focusing on a passion project, while sharing their experience and process with the creative community. Applications will open in early 2017.
